Dear ANET
Why did you feel the need to remove the Monthly GvG Matches from Obs Mode less than 1 week after they've taken place?
And, yet, leave the Monthly Hero vs. Hero battles there???
I suppose we (the QQ archiving team) could be somewhat criticized for not finding the time to record the matches until today, but they've not been taken down this fast in the past and most people would agree that the Monthly GvG Matches are way more important than HvH battles...

They did so to free up space to show daily ATs.
But...
The bigger question is, why did they leave the Italian "championships" (lol) on there, while deleting the mAT to free up server space?

I was just watching a match not 30 minutes ago, so I imagine this just happened. Let me ask if it is possible to put those back on in-place of some of the other matches. I think it may be impossible...but I will do what I can.
Edit: Unfortunately, I asked Izzy and he said it's not possible for us to put them back on. I will see if we can set a more firm date as to how long they remain in-game (such as exactly 7 days). Sorry about that.

They posted up skill usage charts here: http://www.guildwars.com/competitive...ge/default.php
Hopefully that is enough to archive the builds.

If any guild that finished in the top 16 (Isle of Solitude match) wants to preserve their history, PM me with your team build (unless you're Supernova Jpn, o_O, because I did manage to record your build before the matches were wiped).

Thing is, those games always last for 5 days, not longer.
Same with Hero Battles, but since they started one day later they are still up.
This has been the case for quite some while.

Hadn't noticed this.
Although, it has been 6 days since the Monthly.
Guess we know now.

Would you rather watch an Italian tournament or the terrible shame that was this mAT?

Nobody wants to watch the holocaust again, but it's useful to know that it happened.

Wow, I have to bump this.
It's 2 days after the April monthly and 11 out of 15 of the matches are off Obs.
HERO BATTLES ARE MORE IMPORTANT I GUESS.

I got to see 5 matches total of the entire mAT for gvg. Kinda pisses me off that we only get to see some teams compete once a month and they have great matches that are removed from obs.

I'm glad the very last cash prize mAT had their matches stay up for a whole day! Good joke.
Fix plz. Though with AP gone, no one probably reads this anymore. pz out PvP.

They don't have a clue. If anything remove the hb monthlies no one watches. Oh well, no one will care to watch next month's because gvg will be dead.

The Apocalypse (skill reversion invalidating observer) is in two days anyway.

The skill reversion is arguably not the best thing to happen to PvP either.
